VISIT TO THE COMPANY AVANZA SOLUTIONS 2023

As part of "FP Week", the FPB 1st and 2nd year students visited, this Thursday, January 26, the facilities of the Avanza Solutions company in the Alcantarilla industrial estate.

The company has grown a lot since the last time we came last year. They were able to access the Planning, Network Design, Programming and Marketing departments where they were explained how they work and were able to ask all their questions.

In addition, they were shown the CPD of the company and its characteristics were explained to them. Said CPD contains the company's fiber optic headend, which has increased considerably, since its reach has been extended to more towns in the Murcia region as well as Almería, Albacete and the Valencian Community. The fiber optic signal that reaches all these cities starts from said headend.

They were also able to learn how home wiring is done in a model installation that was fully operational.

Finally they were able to carry out with several fiber optic fusion splicers.

Finally, they were presented with a diploma and various gifts.

The visit was very instructive, as well as motivating and entertaining. The visit was organized by her teacher Mª Carmen de ella and they did it with her and with Professor Paco.

TALK FOR FPB BY FORMER STUDENTS 2023 - JUAN ANTONIO

This is the fourth consecutive year in which this type of activity is carried out for Basic Vocational Training students.
Yesterday, Wednesday, January 25, within "FP Week", the FPB 1st and 2nd year students were lucky enough to be able to attend a motivational talk by a former FPB student from IES Sabina Mora:
Juan Antonio Martos García - Promotion 2015-2017
This fantastic student remembers his time at Sabina Mora with great affection and is very grateful to the teachers who, like Ginesa Conesa, motivated him to continue with his studies.
Currently, he is working as a computer technician at the Computer Store company in Murcia, after having also worked at PC Componentes. Juan Antonio successfully completed the Intermediate Cycle of "Microcomputer Systems and Networks".
The FPB students have enjoyed the talk and have asked the guest a multitude of questions. The talk has been very interesting and motivating for everyone.
The gratitude of IES Sabina Mora has been reflected with the delivery of some gifts (with the collaboration of ITC Sublimación).
The activity has been organized by his teacher Mª Carmen, with the collaboration of teacher Elena.
