THE LIBRARY OF THE IES "SABINA MORA" OPENS IN THE AFTERNOONS

Good Morning. Starting next week, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm to 5:30 pm, our center library will remain open to be used by our institute students.
The participating students will be:
Next week, Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 December, we will have some Astronomy activities at the IES Sabina Mora:
A traveler planetary, installed in the gymnasium durint the mornings of those two days, through which every group of students will go by, accompanied by the teachers who, at the corresponding time, have lessons with them.
On Tuesday night, from 6pm to 8 pm, a telescope to watch the Moon will be installed in the parking lof our center. This session can be attended by students and their families, teachers and any other person who may be interested.
These activities are managed by the IES Sabina Mora AMPA and subsidized by the Hon. City Council of Torre Pacheco and the FAPAmTP.
- THE PERIOD TO SUBMIT ALLEGATIONS IS 10 DAYS (FROM 4 TO 18 DE DECEMBER) IN ANY REGISTER OF THE AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY (VENTANILLA ÚNICA, EDUCATION COUNSELING, ETC).
- Applications that do not appear in the lists of granted, denied or withdrawn will be granted in a third partial resolution.
According to instructions from the Education, Youth and Sports Counseling, and on the occasion of the celebration of union elections. Next Tuesday, December 4, classes will end at 12:25 pm.

From 8:15 am we already have an election day underway to elect new representatives to our School Board. Both, parents and students are voting. We encourage all parents to come to the school to elect the representatives of the families in the School Board.

The deadline for sumitting applications to the School Board begins on Monday, November 5 and ends on Monday, November 12.
Application forms can be picked up and turned in at the institute office from 8:20 am to 2:00 pm

Good morning.
The electoral process has begun to renew the School Board of our institute.
Due to the importance of this participation organ, the involvement of all sector of our educational community is necessary.
From today, October 22, until October 30, you can consult the electoral census and process any claim to it if you consider it appropriate.

PROJECT "SHARING EDUCATION"

The IES Sabina Mora collaborates with the University of Murcia, the schools and the AMPA of Torre Pacheco in this project to improve the participation of families in the school live.
The families of the students of the IES Sabina Mora can register in the workshops, which wil be held soon in our institute, through the AMPA IES Sabina Mora or, either in our own center.
The workshops are free, with a duration of eight hours in total and, they will be developed in four months, with a session of two hours each month, which will be held from 19.00 hours.
The registration period ends on November 15, 2018.

FOR PUPILS OF 1st AND 2nd OF BASIC VOCATIONAL TRAINING
These students are reminded that they DO NOT have to buy textbooks.
A Bank of books has been implanted, so textbooks will be bought by the IES Sabina Mora.
COURSE START CALENDAR 2018/2019
Monday, September 17: At 8:15 am start of classes for GCSE and Baccalaureate(GCE) students.
Thursday, September 20: Presentation (at 8:15 am) for students of Basic Vocational Training. The classes will begin later that morning.

INFORMATIVE NOTE ON SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION
COURSE 2018-19
The lists of students of school transport can be consulted in the bulletin board, they indicate the route and stop thar corresponds to each student. Only GCSE students are on the aforementioned lists.
Students of Basic Vocational Training and Baccalaureate (GCE) have to be pending on the notifications that we will be putting soon by Telegrama page of Facebook, web of the IES Sabina Mora and bulletin board.

The call for scholarships from the MEC for the next academic year 2018/2019 has already come out.
They can be requested by all students who are going to take post-compulsory education such as Baccalaureate, Basic Vocational Training, Middle Grade cycles and Higher Grade cycles, among others.

SAINT THOMAS 2018 CELEBRATION
Saint Thomas celebration on January 26 was very successful. The student participation was greater than in previous years as well as the number of activities performed.
