COURSE START CALENDAR 2019-2020

Good morning.

From lES Sabina Mora we welcome all our educational community to this new school year. 

We hope you had a happy summer.  

We remind you that classes for GCSE and Baccalaureate students will begin on September 16.

Classes for students of 1st and 2nd Basic VET will begin on September 23.

WELCOME TO STUDENTS

Monday, September 16 de septiembre: from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. students of GCSE,  Baccalaureate and 1st of Basic VET will be received.

Monday, September 23 de septiembre: at 8:15 am, 2nd grade Basic VET students will be received. Later that morning classes will begin.

MEC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE COURSE 2019-2020

These scholarships or study aids for post-compulsory levels stas becas o ayudas al estudio para niveles postobligatorios (VET, Baccalaureate and universitary studies) called by the MEC can be requested from August 1 to October 1, 2019 in this LINK.

 TYPES OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND AMOUNTS

1. Fixed amounts:

a. Tuition scholarship for university students. The amount of the tuition scholarship will cover the amount of credits that te student has enrolled for the first time in the 2019-2020 academic year.

b. Fixed amount linked to student income: 1600 euros for both university and non-university students.

c. Fixed amount linked to the student's residence during the school year: 1500 euros for both university and non-university students.

d. Fixed amount linked to academic excellence: between 50 and 125 euros tanto for both university and non-university students.

e. Basic scholarship for non-university students: 200 euros.

2. Variable and different amount for the different applicants that will result from the weithting of the average grade of the student's file and their family income and whose minimum amount will be 60 euros.

PRIZES "END OF COURSE 2019"

Yesterday the awards  "End of course 2019" were given to students who have obtained outstanding grades during the past school year. A total of 77 students of all the courses of GCSE, Baccalaureat and Basic VET were awarded. Each student received a gift and a diploma.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ACNEES FOR THE COURSE 2019-2020

These scholarships or study grants convened by the MEC can be requested from July 28 until September 26, 2019 in this LINK.

AMOUNT OF SUCH HELP:

  • Books and teaching material: up to 204 euros.
  • School lunch aid: up to 574 euros.
  • School residence: up to 1795 euros.
  • Interurban transport aid: up to 617 euros.
  • Urban transport aid: up to 308 euros.
