WE HAVE BEEN SELECTED IN THE CALL FOR ACTIVE GUIDANCE 2021

We are happy to inform you that IES Sabina Mora has obtained a grant of 2,500 euros for the Motivando initiative, within the Call for Active Orientation 2021.

The Motivating initiative consists of the multiple activities that have been carried out during this course to motivate Basic Vocational Training students and guide them towards Vocational Training studies (talks from former students, videoconferences with computer companies in the area within the activity "A day in work ", videoconferences with entities such as the Department of Systems of the Murcia City Council or the Torre Pacheco Library, virtual open doors, etc.)

Within the Motivando initiative, it has also guided on VET with a gender perspective (through the creation of murals and Powerpoint presentations on "Women in Informatics").

The aid has been granted by Dualiza-Fundación Bankia (@DualizaBankia) and by FPEMPRESA  (@FPEmpresa the Association of Vocational Training Centers).

More than a hundred projects were submitted to the call and our center has been one of those selected, along with 27 other centers from all over Spain. Here you have the link of the news:

WINNING STUDENTS OF THE “ALCOHOL: CONSCIOUSNESS WITH SCIENCE” CONTEST.

The students Mohamed Amine El Boutalbi Tabete (1st ESO) and Juan Antonio Martínez Pastor (2nd ESO) have been winners of this contest called by the General Directorate of Public Health and Addictions and by the General Directorate of Educational Innovation and Attention to Diversity.
This activity is part of the educational program "Alcohol: awareness with science" for the prevention of problems related to the consumption of alcoholic beverages by adolescents. Framed in the Argos-Murcia Program, which is included in the Regional Plan on Addictions of the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture and the City Councils of the Region of Murcia.
The awards were presented by the director of our center, Antonio Vicente, and by the tutors of the groups to which these students belong, Joaquín Ortega and Isabel Navarro, in the presence of all their classmates.

Congratulations to both students for their excellent work!

CONTEST WINNER "ACTIVE FAMILY LEISURE IN THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

Our student Pablo Mateo Marín (2nd ESO) has been the winner of the contest "Active leisure in the family in the natural environment" carried out by the Ministry of Education together with the Ministry of Health.  Congratulations!!

CALL FOR EXTRAORDINARY HIGH SCHOOL AWARDS 2021

ATTENTION: STUDENTS WHO HAVE FINISHED 2ND OF HIGH SCHOOL

The Extraordinary High School Awards have been announced for the 2020/2021 academic year.

To submit the application to participate in these awards, you only have to present at the institute office ANNEX I of the ANNOUNCEMENT.

REQUIREMENTS: That the average grade of the two Baccalaureate courses is equal to or greater than 8.75 points.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: Until June 19, 2021.
Later they will have to appear for a test that will take place, at the latest, on July 15, 2021.

AMOUNT: In the Region of Murcia, 13 prizes will be awarded with an amount of € 700 each.

WE ARE VERY SATISFIED BECAUSE OF THE RESULTS OF OUR STUDENTS AT THE EBAU (Selectivity).

One more year, we are tremendously satisfied with the results of our 2nd Baccalaureate students at the EBAU (university entrance exam).
97% of the students who have taken the test have passed the test and their grades exceed the regional average by more than two tenths.

Congratulations to all the families, students and teachers for their magnificent work!
