FIVE OF OUR 2nd FPB STUDENTS WIN THE "SEE ME? I SEE YOU, YOU SEE ME" COMPETITION OF THE JESÚS ABANDONED FOUNDATION

Five 2nd year FPB students from our institute (Alberto, Raúl, Israel, Aleksandre and Abdelhadi), have won the first prize of €250 in the micro-video contest "Do you see me? I see you, you see me" of the Jesus Abandoned Foundation. The purpose of the contest is to raise social awareness of the need to make visible the importance of emotional health, emotional management and the importance of asking for help. The students have made a video that encourages people to ask for help when they are being bullied. On April 21 they will go to collect their prize in the company of all their classmates.

MEC SCHOLARSHIPS 2023-2024

You can now apply for MEC scholarships for the next academic year 2023-2024.

These scholarships or study aids for post-compulsory levels (Basic FP, Intermediate FP, Higher FP, Baccalaureate and University) convened by the MEC can be requested from today March 27 to May 17, 2023 at this LINK.

JUAN MANUEL ESCUDERO, A STUDENT OF SABINA MORA, OBTAINS FIRST PRIZE AT THE REGIONAL CHEMISTRY OLYMPICS

We are in luck at IES Sabina Mora, given that one of our 2nd year high school students, Juan Manuel Escudero López, has won first prize in the regional phase of the Chemistry Olympics that were held on February 24 and which Students from the entire Region of Murcia present themselves.

Congratulations to your Physics and Chemistry teacher, Mónica Martínez, to her mother, Professor Encarna López, and to her entire family.

Enjoy it Juan Manuel, you deserve it, we are all very proud of you!

AWARD GIVING FOR THE 28TH EDITION OF THE CHEMISTRY OLYMPIADS

Yesterday, March 14, the awards ceremony of the 28th Edition of the Chemistry Olympiad was held. Our student Juan Manuel Escudero López, who obtained first place, collected the diploma and prize from him.

At the ceremony he was accompanied by his parents and sister, his chemistry teacher, Mónica Martínez, and the director of our center, Antonio Vicente.

The first three places, including our student Juan Manuel, will travel to Valencia for the National Olympics from April 21 to 23.

The students will be accompanied by the teacher of our center, Mónica Martínez.

Congratulations Juan Manuel for such a well-deserved award!
