OUR STUDENT, JUAN MANUEL ESCUDERO, WINS THE GOLD MEDAL AT THE NATIONAL CHEMISTRY OLYMPICS

We are in luck. Our 2nd year Baccalaureate student, Juan Manuel Escudero, who took part in the National Chemistry Olympiad held in Valencia this weekend, has achieved 8th place with a Gold Medal and National Award.

In said Olympiad there were about 120 students representing all of Spain.

We congratulate you on your well-deserved Gold Medal and because, furthermore, it is the best position that Murcia has achieved in many years.

FIVE OF OUR 2nd FPB STUDENTS WIN THE "SEE ME? I SEE YOU, YOU SEE ME" COMPETITION OF THE JESÚS ABANDONED FOUNDATION

Five 2nd year FPB students from our institute (Alberto, Raúl, Israel, Aleksandre and Abdelhadi), have won the first prize of €250 in the micro-video contest "Do you see me? I see you, you see me" of the Jesus Abandoned Foundation. The purpose of the contest is to raise social awareness of the need to make visible the importance of emotional health, emotional management and the importance of asking for help. The students have made a video that encourages people to ask for help when they are being bullied. On April 21 they will go to collect their prize in the company of all their classmates.

THE ENTIRE 2º FPB CLASS ACCOMPANY THEIR COMPANIONS TO COLLECT THEIR AWARD AT THE WELCOME CENTER OF THE JESÚS ABANDONED FOUNDATION

This Friday, April 21, at the Jesús Abandonado Reception Center in Murcia, the awards ceremony for the awareness project "Do you see me? I see you, you see me" was held. Five of our 2nd year FPB students (Alberto, Raúl, Israel, Aleksandre and Abdelhadi), have won the first prize of €250 in this micro-video contest from the Jesús Abandonado Foundation. 16 institutes and more than 1000 students have participated in the project. Before the delivery gala, they have been lucky enough to be able to visit all the facilities of this reception center where more than 200 people in need of help have their home. They have been explained how the center works and also that any donation is welcome and that volunteers are always needed to carry out this gratifying and necessary task.

They have come to collect their award accompanied by all their classmates, and also by the director of our institute, Antonio Vicente, and by his tutor Mª Carmen. After the delivery gala, a lunch was held.

MEC SCHOLARSHIPS 2023-2024

These scholarships or study aids for post-compulsory levels (Basic FP, Intermediate FP, Higher FP, Baccalaureate and University) convened by the MEC can be requested from today March 27 to May 17, 2023 at this  LINK.
