TALK FOR FPB BY FORMER STUDENTS 2023 - MOHSSINE

This is the fourth consecutive year in which this type of activity is carried out for Basic Vocational Training students.
This Friday, March 3, the FPB 1st and 2nd year students were lucky enough to be able to attend a motivational talk given by a former FPB student from IES Sabina Mora:
Mohssine Benserya - Promotion 2019-2021
This hard-working and tireless student remembers his time at Sabina Mora with great affection and is very grateful to the teachers who, like Ginesa Conesa, guided and motivated him to continue with his studies.
Currently, he is finishing the 2nd year of the Intermediate Administrative Management cycle at IES Gerardo Molina, with excellent grades and in a few days he will begin his FCT internship in a company in the area.
This student, who has only been in Spain for four years and who began Basic Vocational Training with hardly any knowledge of Spanish, is an example of what can be achieved with effort and dedication and has set a priceless example to all the students who have attended the talk.
The FPB students enjoyed the talk and raised his doubts with the guest. The talk has been very interesting and motivating for everyone.
The gratitude of the IES Sabina Mora has been reflected with the delivery of some gifts
The activity has been organized by his teacher Mª Carmen, with the collaboration of teachers Paco and Ginesa.

It has been a very interesting and instructive talk. After it, some students have asked their doubts to the guest. The activity has had the presence of Antonio Vicente, the director of our institute, and has been carried out with the collaboration of Professor Elena.

"THE WEEK OF THE FP" AT THE IES SABINA MORA

From January 20 to 27 we have celebrated "FP Week" at the IES Sabina Mora.

During it we have carried out different sessions to inform our students about Vocational Training and about the different cycles that they can access. They have also been motivated to begin studies in a Basic, Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training cycle.

Part of the students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th of ESO, 1st and 2nd of FPB and 2nd of Baccalaureate have received this training.

We have also designed some t-shirts to promote FP (with the collaboration of ITC Sublimation) that have been distributed among the participants.

The Basic Vocational Training students have also been motivated by receiving a talk from a former student of the center and by visiting the fiber optic installation company Avanza Fibra.

For the activities on Saint Thomas Day, the FPB teachers have prepared some kahoots, breakouts and escape rooms in which the students of 1st and 2nd of FPB, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of ESO and 2nd of Baccalaureate have been able to participate. All the participants have learned a lot about all the FP cycles (Basic, Intermediate and Superior) and have had fun at the same time. All winners have received one or more prizes.

Thanks to everyone for participating!
