Some 2nd FPB students have been lucky enough to be able to travel to Brussels where they have visited the European Parliament.
This trip has been made due to the excellent work they did last year as Ambassadors of the European Parliament, within the Ambassador Schools program.
They have made the trip with their teachers from last year, Ginesa Conesa and Javier Cegarra.

FIRST FLOOR COMMUNICATIONS CABINET COMPLETED
As part of the Motivating initiative, the 2nd FPB students have already finished installing the communications cabinet on the first floor of the institute's main building, which is located in room 1.13. This installation has been one of the practices carried out in the Networks module.
Now the cable reaches each of the 13 classrooms on that floor. A rosette has been placed in each of these classrooms; in total 13 rosettes, 10 double and 3 simple. Now these computers can connect to the Internet both wirelessly and by cable, therefore, if one of the connections fails, the other will be available.
This installation will serve 13 computers, with a bandwidth of up to 1 Gbps,
The practice has been carried out during the first and second trimesters at a rate of 2 hours per week and all the students of the course have participated (José Ángel, Isidoro, Teodoro, Imran, Sofian, Hamza M., Jeremy, Zakaria, Yolanda, Daniel, Jose, Achraf, Jose David, Loubna, Hamza S., Issam, Carmen, Nancy, and Juan Francisco).

JOB SEARCH WORKSHOP - TORRE PACHECO CITY COUNCIL YOUTH DEPARTMENT
Today, Friday, March 25, and as part of the "Motivating" initiative, FPB 1st and 2nd grade students have been lucky enough to be able to attend a job search workshop given by Mª Eugenia García from the Torre Town Council for Youth Pacheco.
They have received information on how to fill out a resume and what skills employers are looking for in a candidate. In addition, they have been encouraged to continue their studies in an Intermediate Degree cycle, given that this will open the doors to more jobs. They have also been told how they can obtain information about jobs and how to contact and obtain help at the Youth Department of the Torre Pacheco City Council. They had previously prepared a series of questions for the speaker, which she kindly answered during the talk. The FPB students have enjoyed the workshop and have raised their doubts. The workshop has been very interesting and instructive for all.

SECOND SESSION OF THE JOB SEARCH WORKSHOP - YOUTH DEPARTMENT OF THE TORRE PACHECO CITY COUNCIL
Today, Friday, April 1, and as part of the "Motivating" initiative, FPB 1st and 2nd grade students attended the second session of the job search workshop given by Mª Eugenia García from the Torre Pacheco City Council Youth Department.
This session has helped them to learn about more sites that they can turn to when looking for work such as the SEF, an ETT (Temporary Employment Company) or Placement Agencies.
Also to better understand themselves and not to give up on the job search as it could be considered a long-distance career.
The FPB students have enjoyed the workshop and have raised their doubts. The workshop has been very interactive and instructive for all.

TALK FOR FPB BY A FORMER STUDENT - ISRAEL
Today, Thursday, March 10, and as part of the "Motivating" initiative, FPB 1st and 2nd grade students have been lucky enough to receive a motivational talk by a former FPB student from IES Sabina Mora.
Israel García Campillo - Promotion 2015-2017 This excellent student has remembered his time at Sabina Mora and has told us about his subsequent experience doing the F.P. Intermediate Degree of "Microcomputer Systems and Networks". After finishing this cycle, he completed a master's degree in graphic design, 3D animation and video game design and, currently, he has his own company and works in the world of art and design. He also acknowledges that his computer studies have been very useful to him in his current job due to the knowledge they have given him and when it comes to preparing his company's website himself or when choosing a better computer (an essential tool if you are dedicated to design graphic) . The FPB students have enjoyed the talk and have asked the guest many questions. The talk was very interesting and motivating for everyone. The gratitude of the IES Sabina Mora was reflected with the delivery of a diploma of gratitude and some gifts.
