AT SABINA MORA IES, WE BET ON DIGITALIZATION
At IES Sabina Mora we are committed to "Digitization" as a methodology and strategy for teaching-learning. The following video shows the 2nd FPB class of Computer Science and Communications carrying out an activity on the touch screen, the students are attentive, concentrated and motivated to acquire new content. The activity has been carried out by Professor Javier Cegarra.
ESCAPE ROOM IN 1ºFPB
On November 24, the students of the 1st Basic FP of Computer Science and Communications held an Escape Room of the Mapfre Foundation. A telematic group dynamic that consists of solving puzzles and deciphering enigmas to go overcoming level after level. The experience has been a success since the theme was as current a topic as cryptocurrencies. The students are looking forward to reaching the 2nd year of FPB to take the second level of said Escape Room.
FINANCIAL ESCAPE ROOM
Today, Tuesday, November 23, the 2nd year FPB students have carried out a telematic escape room organized by the Mapfre Foundation in which, through an online game, they have had to abort a fraudulent financial operation with bitcoins.
They have learned various financial concepts and have been working hard to get the job done. They have been organized into six teams and finally one of them has managed to reach the goal.
Everyone has enjoyed the activity.
The activity has been organized by her teacher Mª Carmen and teacher Ginesa and Consuelo, the institute's counselor, have also collaborated.
FIRST FLOOR WIRING COMPLETED
The 2nd year FPB students have already finished wiring the first floor of the main building of the institute. This task has been one of the practices carried out in the Networks module.
Now the cable reaches each of the 12 classrooms on that floor. In each of these classrooms a double rosette has been placed, a total of 12 rosettes.
This facility will serve 12 computers, with a bandwidth of up to 1 Gbps.
The installation will be complete when the communications cabinet is installed in classroom 1.13.
The practice has been carried out during this first term at a rate of 2 hours a week and all the students of the course have participated (José Ángel, Isidoro, Teodoro, Imran, Sofian, Hamza M., Jeremy, Zakaria, Yolanda, Daniel, Jose, Achraf, José David, Hamza S., Issame, Carmen, Nancy and Juan Francisco).
This practice began last year with the students who were in 2nd grade at that time (Jesús, José Ángel, José Antonio, Mohssine, Omar, Adrián, Mohammed, Jhonatan, Salma, Fausto, Jose, Naima, Christian M, Christian P, Laura, Florín and Otman). They did it during the second trimester at a rate of 2 hours a week.

TALK FOR FPB BY A FORMER STUDENT - SERGIO
Today, Friday, November 19, and within the "Motivating" initiative, FPB 1st and 2nd year students have been lucky enough to receive a motivational talk by a former FPB student from IES Sabina Mora.
Sergio Gómez Tortosa - Promotion 2014-2016
This excellent student has remembered his passage through Sabina Mora and has told us about his subsequent experience doing the F.P. Middle Grade and Higher Grade in "Web Application Development".
After working for several years as a computer technician at the company "El Pozo" in Alhama de Murcia, he is currently working as a programmer at the company "Oesía Networks" in Murcia.
FPB students enjoyed the talk and posed multiple questions to the guest. The talk has been very interesting and motivating for everyone.
The gratitude of the IES Sabina Mora was reflected with the delivery of a diploma of appreciation and some gifts.
The activity has been organized by his teacher Mª Carmen, with the collaboration of teacher Elena Rodríguez.
