VISIT TO THE COMPANY "AVANZA SOLUTIONS" 2020
The 2nd Basic VET students were able to visit the facilities of the company Avanza Solutions in Alcantarilla this Monday, February 24.
They were able to see how much the company has grown since the last visit they made a year ago. They visited the Planning, Network Design, Programming and Marketing departments where their operation was explained to them and they were able to ask all their questions.
Then they were divided into 2 groups to carry out the following tasks:
1) They were shown the company's CPD and their characteristics were explained to them. This CPD contains the company's fiber optic header, which has increased considerably since last year, as they have expanded their reach to more populations in the region such as El Palmar, Molina de Segura, Moratalla, Abarán, Mula, Las Torres Cotillas, Caravaca, Calasparra, etc. as well as Valencia and Alicante. The fiber optic signal that reaches all these cities starts from this header.
2) They were also able to learn how wiring is carried out by the houses.
Then, all together, they practiced with the fiber optic fusion splicer.
Finally they received a motivating talk by Ana Martín, one of the managers of the company, who also presented them with a diploma and a gift.
The visit was very instructive, as well as motivating and entertaining. They did it together with their tutor Mª Carmen.
