Today, Tuesday, May 18, the 1st year FPB students carried out a telematic escape room organized by the Mapfre Foundation in which, through an online game, they had to abort a fraudulent financial operation with bitcoins.
They have learned various financial concepts and have been working hard to get the job done. They have been organized into seven teams and finally one of them has managed to reach the goal.

"A DAY AT WORK" AT TORRE PACHECO LIBRARY
We continue to carry out the activity "A day at work" with FPB students during this course. We are doing it online due to current circumstances.
Today, Tuesday April 27, we have connected with Juani Sánchez Manzanares, head of the Torre Pacheco Library, who has told the 1st year FPB students about his day to day in the library.
First of all, we have seen a video in which he has made a tour of the entire library (a magnificent building designed by the architect Martín Lejarraga) and has told us about his daily work in it, the current situation due to the pandemic, how books are classified, how to create a library card And , with the collaboration of his colleagues, he has told us about all the activities that continue to be carried out in the library and how they have had to adapt them due to the pandemic.
Then it was connected live by videoconference and some students have raised their curiosities. Everyone has enjoyed the activity.

JOB SEARCH WORKSHOP - COUNCIL OF YOUTH OF THE TOWN HALL OF TORRE PACHECO
Today, Tuesday March 23rd, the 1st and 2nd year FPB students have been lucky enough to be able to attend a job search workshop telematically taught by Mª Eugenia García from the Youth Department of the Torre Pacheco City Council.
They have received information on how to fill out a resume and what companies are looking for in a candidate. They have also been informed about how they can obtain information about vocational training cycles in the Region of Murcia or about the courses taught by the SEF for the unemployed. In addition, now they alread y know about how to access the internships in companies available at the SEF when they obtain their FP degree. They have also learned about the existence of Eurodyssey, which is an exchange program that offers internships abroad to young people who are looking for work and who are between 18 and 30 years old.
FPB students enjoyed the talk and raised their doubts. The talk has been very interesting and instructive for everyone.

VIDEO CONFERENCE WITH THE MURCIA CITY COUNCIL (ABOUT ITS CPD AND ITS FIBER OPTIC NETWORK)
Today, Thursday, March 25, the 1st and 2nd year FPB students have had the opportunity to connect with Francisco Olivares, the Head of Systems of the Murcia City Council to receive information about the City Council's fiber optic network and about its CPD (Center for Data processing).
In this explanatory talk, they have been told about the existing fiber optic connections between the different CPDs of the City Council. Also how all the information they have is replicated on the servers to achieve a fault-tolerant design and so that the data can be accessed at all times, that is, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The characteristics of one of its CPDs and all its content (servers, virtual machines, cabinets, network cabling, security systems, cooling systems, generators, uninterruptible power supplies or UPS, etc.) have been explained to them. TALK FOR FPB BY FORMER STUDENTS 2021- JUAN ANTONIO
This is the second consecutive year in which this type of activity is carried out for Basic FP students. Today, Tuesday, March 16, the 1st and 2nd year FPB students have been lucky enough to be able to attend a motivational talk given by a former FPB student from IES Sabina Mora: Juan Antonio Martos García - Promotion 2015-2017 This fantastic student remembers with great affection his time at Sabina Mora and is very grateful to the teachers, like Ginesa, who motivated him to continue with his studies. At present, he is working as a computer technician in the company PC Componentes after having successfully completed the Middle Degree cycle of "Microinformatics Systems and Networks". FPB students enjoyed the talk and asked the guest a multitude of questions. The talk has been very inter esting and motivating for everyone.
