AMBASSADOR SCHOOLS ON THE RADIO

On Thursday, February 10, at the IES Sabina Mora we had the pleasure of participating in a radio interview by Onda Regional in the Plaza Pública live program. The objective of this interview was to tell about our experience in the European Programs carried out by the center and especially the Ambassador School program of the European Parliament. The director of the center Antonio Vicente, the professor responsible for European Programs Fernando Vera, the professor responsible for the Ambassador Schools program of the European Parliament Javier Cegarra and two ambassador students of this program belonging to the 1st FPB of Computing and Communications Andrea and José participated in the interview. TALK FOR FPB BY FORMER STUDENT SALMA FAKIHI

This is the third consecutive year in which this type of activity is carried out for Basic Vocational Training students.

Today, Monday, February 7, FPB 1st and 2nd grade students have been lucky enough to be able to attend a motivational talk given by a former FPB student from Sabina Mora.

Salma Fakihi Afkihi - Promotion 2019-2021

This endearing student fondly remembers her time at Sabina Mora, especially the professor who taught her at FPB, and she is very grateful to Professor Ginesa for her wise advice. Salma is currently successfully studying the first course of the Middle Grade cycle of "Commercial Activities" at the IES Gerardo Molina.

Currently, there are three other former FPB students studying this cycle at IES Gerardo Molina, two in the second year and another who, after finishing it, has started the higher degree cycle of "Sales Management and Commercial Spaces".

The FPB students enjoyed the talk and asked the guest many questions. The talk was very interesting and motivating for everyone.
As a thank you, she has been given a diploma and some gifts from IES Sabina Mora.
The activity has been organized by his teacher Mª Carmen, with the collaboration of teacher Elena Rodríguez.

PREVENTION ACTIVITY AGAINST SEXIST ASSAULTS - DEPARTMENT OF EQUALITY OF THE TORRE PACHECO CITY COUNCIL

This Friday, January 14, the FPB 2nd year students attended the activity "0.0% sexist aggression, party respects and enjoys" given by the Youth Department of the Torre Pacheco City Council. It is aimed at young people in the municipality and is included in the municipal actions approved within the State Plan Against Gender Violence.

They have received very interesting information on the subject and have refreshed concepts that they already knew. They have also viewed several videos on this subject.

The students have actively participated in the activity and raised their doubts. The talk has been very interesting and instructive for all.

The activity has been organized by Consuelo, the institute's counselor.

VIDEOCONFERENCE WITH THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT

On Thursday, February 3, we were lucky enough to have a talk/colloquium with the MEP Don Marcos Ros at IES Sabina Mora. It has been through videoconference since he was in the European Parliament (Brussels). We have also had José Vera Garre, Councilor for the Environment and Heritage of the Torre Pacheco City Council, in the activity. This activity is included within the Ambassador Schools program of the European Parliament, a program to which our center belongs since this 2021/2022 academic year. The activity has been a resounding success with important educational content, and the 1st FPB student ambassadors have actively participated by asking very interesting questions.

INSTALLATION OF THE AMBASSADOR SCHOOLS INFORMATION POINT

The European Union information point is installed at IES Sabina Mora within the Ambassador Schools of the European Parliament program.

At IES Sabina Mora, the students of 1st year of basic FP in Computer Science and Communications are the junior ambassadors of the Ambassador Schools program of the European Parliament and they have prepared some interesting infographics so that the rest of the students of the center can experience the advantages of European citizenship.
