VISIT TO THE MURCIA SCIENCE PARK AND THE CEEIM (EUROPEAN BUSINESS AND INNOVATION CENTER OF MURCIA)
Within the Motivando initiative, the 1st and 2nd year students of the FPB cycle of "Informatics and Communications" visited the Murcia Science Park today, November 16.
During the visit they have been explained what the objective of the Park is and which are the companies that have their headquarters in it.
Then they have visited their CPD (Data Processing Center) and they have been told how it works and what elements make it up.
They have also been able to see the generator set in the Park that provides electricity to it when there is no power supply. They have been very impressed by its large size.
They have also received a talk from the representatives of the companies Centic (an innovative company in the ICT sector), Superlumen (video game development and virtual reality, which has received several awards and will soon launch the Desolatium video game) and Vocali (language processing natural).
Afterwards they have visited the CEEIM (European Center for Business and Innovation of Murcia) where it has been explained to them that the CEEIM is similar to a business incubator and they have received information about the initiatives they are carrying out to promote entrepreneurship at an early age such as Imagine a company and BeSteam.
They were then lucky enough to receive a talk from Doménec Company, a young entrepreneur and co-founder of the ReadyMe company, which provides restaurants with the platform so that they can receive and serve orders online.
During the visit, they had multiple questions that were kindly answered by the staff who were in the Park and in the CEEIM.
Everyone has enjoyed the visit, which, in addition to being interesting, has turned out to be very instructive and motivating.
