LECTURE FOR BASIC VET BY OLD STUDENTS - 2019

Yesterday, Wednesday December 18 and within the "Compartimos Educación" program, the 1st and 2nd FPB students received a motivational lecture by a group of former FPB students from the IES Sabina Mora.

The students who collaborated were:

Sergio Gómez Tortosa - Promotion 2014-2016
Israel García Campillo - Promotion 2015-2017
Juan Antonio Martos García - Promotion 2015-2017
David Saura Almagro - Promotion 2017-2019

These former students told us about their experience after passing through Sabina Mora, completing different cycles of the Middle Degree, the Higher Degree and later working as technicians of the specialty they have studied.
The FPB students enjoyed the talk and posed multiple questions to the former students. The talk was very interesting and motivating for everyone.
The gratitude of the IES Sabina Mora was reflected with the delivery of a diploma of appreciation and a gift to each of the participating former students.

"A DAY AT WORK" AT TORRE PACHECO LIBRARY

This Tuesday, December 17, the student Naima Meddich from 1st FPB spent the day at the Torre Pacheco Public Library within the project "A day at work".

He participated in activities such as the Bebeteca or the Reading Club and also received information about the tasks of the library.

The student enjoyed the visit very much and the next day she told her classmates everything that had been done in the Library.

PROJECT "A DAY AT WORK" 2019

Last Thursday, December 12, some 1st and 2nd FP students visited different companies and work centers related to Roldán, Torre Pacheco and San Javier's IT within the project "A day at work". They spent the whole day in the company learning and observing its operation. This experience was very rewarding and it motivated them.

The activity has been organized by his teacher Mª Carmen.

Florín Pruteanu visited the company a2z Telecom de Roldán
Fausto Heredia Aguilar visited the company C&G Informática y Comunicaciones de Torre Pacheco
Christian Armero Sánchez visited the company D2 Informática de Torre Pacheco
Jhonathan Escobar Arnez visited the company Supertécnicos Informáticos de Torre Pacheco
José Antonio Benítez Serrano visited the company JNC 360º in San Javier
Otman Sansegundo Gallego visited the computing department of the City of San Javier
Christian Monge Castillo visited the company Avanza Fibra de San Javier
Jesús Alba Cánovas visited the Virtual Infonet company in San Javier
Naima Meddich will visit the Torre Pacheco Library on December 17.

After the experience, they will be in charge of telling their colleagues everything that was done during that day.

TRAINING DAY "AVANZA SOLUTIONS" - 2019

Yesterday, Monday, December 16, and for the second consecutive year, several members of the company Avanza Solutions de Alcantarilla visited the IES Sabina Mora to give a training session to 1st and 2nd FP students. Firstly, they were shown a presentation in which they were told the most important characteristics of fiber optic communications and important aspects of the company Avanza Solutions.

The activity has been organized by his teacher Mª Carmen.

In this talk they were also informed about the current job offer for professional fiber optic installers.

All the student assistants received a diploma that accredited their attendance at that conference.

Finally, the 2nd FPB students were able to carry out a series of practices with fiber optic cable, pigtails, tools and they were also able to use the fiber fusion splicer.

VISIT TO A COMPUTER COMPANY AND TO A DPC (DATA PROCESSING CENTER)

The 2nd FPB students have had the opportunity, this Friday, November 15, to visit a computer company in Murcia and be able to enter a DPC (Data Processing Center).

The company visited has been SK Informática where the activities carried out therein have been explained to them (such as sale and repair of computers, mobiles, and Consoles, as well as development of web pages) and where they have been able to solve all the doubts they had, especially on the subject of web pages.
Later they visited the Murcia City Council where, after an explanatory talk, they were able to enter and observe the DPC and all its content (servers, network cabling, security systems, cooling systems, etc.) on the spot. They were very impressed by the visit and very motivated.
The activity has been carried out with her tutor Mª Carmen and has been coordinated by her.
