COMPANY "AVANZA SOLUTIONS" TRAINING DAY

Last Monday, December 17, several members of the company Avanza Solutions from San Javier visited the IES Sabina Mora to give a training day to 1st and 2nd FP students. Firstly, they were shown a presentation in which they were told the most important characteristics of fiber optic communications and important aspects of the company Avanza Solutions.

They then received a talk in which they were told about the current job offer for professional fiber optic installers.

All the student assistants received a diploma that accredited their attendance at that conference.

Finally, the 2nd FPB students were able to carry out a series of practices with fiber optic cable, pigtails, tools and they could also see the fiber fusion splicer in operation.

The company Avanza Solutions is going to sign a collaboration agreement with the IES Sabina Mora to train students in the deployment of fiber optics.

VISIT TO THE SCIENTIFIC PARK AND THE REGIONAL LIBRARY

The students of 1st and 2nd of the FPB cycle of "Computing and Communications" visited the Science Park of Murcia on November 30th.

During the visit they were able to see the room and the operation of the park's generator set. This generator set feeds the Park's CPD, which could also be visited by the students.

During the visit, they were presented with multiple questions that were kindly answered by the staff at the CPD.

After the tour of the Park they were also able to visit the Murcia Regional Library where they were informed about its operation and about the computer services it offers.

ELECTIONS TO THE SCHOOL COUNCIL

Some 2nd FPB students have collaborated in the elections for the School Board, these students were at the table receiving the votes of students.

The students who have collaborated have been Andrei Radacina, Avtandil Karanashvili, David Saura and Fran López.

VISIT TO COMPUTER COMPANIES IN MURCIA

Some 1st and 2nd FPB students visited several IT companies in Murcia capital on March 1st.

PROJECT "A DAY AT WORK"

Last Tuesday, December 18, some 1st FP students visited different companies related to IT in Roldán, Torre Pacheco and Los Alcázares within the project "A day at work" developed by the Technology department of IES Sabina Mora . They spent the whole day in the company learning and observing its operation. This experience was very rewarding and it motivated them.

Mario Martínez Zamora visited the company TV Fibra in Torre Pacheco

After the experience, they will be in charge of telling their colleagues everything that was done during that day.
