They were able to visit all the facilities of the company, also watch a video in which they explained how it works and the fiber optic rates they offer. Subsequently, they were divided into three groups so that, alternatively, they could carry out the following tasks:
1) Merge fiber optics with a fusion splicer.
2) Observe how wiring is mounted in homes.
3) Observe the CPD of the company where the fiber optic header is located. This header provides fiber optic service to different locations in the Murcia region, such as Lorca, Totana, Molina de Segura, etc.
The visit was very gratifying and motivating for all the students.
